"I'm shown as logged in as soon as I jump onto the webmaster pages, The List of threads shows that I am logged on, however as soon as I jump into a thread I would respond to, it shows me as a guest. So, I re-log, do the same things, and I'm still shown as guest inside a thread. Go back to the list of threads I'm shown as being logged in.

Heavy sigh, I'm not welcomed here!

Besides, this is for the highly intelligent bunch of web developers out there, roflol ;>)"

NOW, wouldn't you want someone who can laugh about her plight to join the gang? If you know how to help her I'd appreciate you posting the answer here.

So, D, did I do good? Do I get a cookie? Oh, yeah, I forgot, I'm on a see-food diet.

First shot is to try this:
Control panel
Show Cookies, Display or reset cookies set by WebmasterWorld.

reset cookies. close all browsers. log back on.

"I'm on a see-food diet."

Haha, I think they call that bolemia... maybe anorexia, can't ever remember which one's vomiting what you eat and which one's not eating anything :)

She should probably also check to see if the date on her computer's set up correctly. This caused some cookie problems with me a while ago.

OK, I think I may have it.
There would have been an e-mail sent to the memebr's address when the member signed up. It's important that the instruction in that e-mail were followed and the member was validated.

Well, I finally made it in. ;)

I look forward to learning a lot in here. My favorite spot to visit is the CSS area.

I'm self taught. What I am learning in the area of web design and web graphics, I am teaching myself. And teaching.......

I look forward to the day that this all pays of though.

Hey doesn't this thread follow the format Brett explicitly forbids in the ]post on tag-team self-promotion [webmasterworld.com] (message #11) ;-)

That's a joke (but it's true, it does follow the same format). What I really mean to say is Welcome 4CSS! Don't hold my sarcastic comment against me when I have CSS problems.

Cheers,

Tom

LOL! well had I read that I would not have let Webwork know that i had made it in, and he would not have known that I had, as my screen name is waaaayyyyy different from what he is used to seeing!

Hmmm, now that I think about it I should have just started posting in the forums to see if he recognized me! ;>
Thank you soo much for the welcome Tom, I appreciate it! OH, btw, thanks also to webwork for the welcome.

lol, I dont think you have to worry too much about that one. I'm truly a beginner with css. And at the point where all I have been reading is swiming in my head trying to make sense ;>
