I was responding to a post in the Commercial Exchange forum. I pulled up the guy's profile, clicked on his StickyMail icon, and was taken to the "Send" page where his member name was already filled in. I composed my message, checked the 'backup copy' box, hit the "Send Message" button, and was sent to the "Preview" page. Hmmm? Hit the "Send Message" button again, and once again found myself on the "Preview" page. Not being sure if the message was sent, I went to my StickyMail control panel and no messages were shown in the InBox, Sent Mail, or Trash mailboxes.
So I'm correct in assuming the message was never sent? If so, what have I missed? I tried slipping a dollar bill into my floppy drive, but that didn't help. ;)
Suggestions?
I just replied to your StickyMail that you sent (yes, I got it) and it appeared to work this time. Either it was 'system overload' or a 'bug' as you suggested, or I needed to put $5 in my floppy drive instead of $1! lol Whatever it was, it must be working now.
I'll try sending my original message to the poster on the Commercial Exchange forum again, and hopefully this time it will go through.
Thanks for your help!
I'm wondering... what if the poster does NOT have his StickyMail enabled in his Control Panel? Could that be why my message can't be sent? I would think that the BB software would give you some type of indication that you can't send him StickyMail if that were the case, rather than just continuously dumping you on the preview page.
Oh well.... nothing is perfect.
I never specified a SUBJECT for the message! When I added one, the message went through okay.
And did the page informed you that you should have specified the subject? If it didn't, someone should suggest one of the admnistrators to correct it.
I'm glad you've figured out the problem.
BTW: I've received your StickyMail.
