Hello,

I am testing a phpBB forum with the tool [searchengineworld.com...]

The first page (http://midomain.com/) is a redirect to the real forum url (http://midomain.com/forum/index.php). This is a phpBB 2.0.6 forum, with relative links.

Sim Spider is confused by this, the relative links are attached to [midomain.com...] instead of [midomain.com...] so the result is that this links are not valid.

Is it a Sim Spider bug?

(I can't tell you the url on the forum, because it is in test phase).

Yes, there is no indication or standard for se's to respond to redirects - so, neither should a utility.
