Would it be good to have a forum devoted to PubCon so that all related threads are easy to find?

At the moment, there are 2-3 major threads where many Pubcon topics are colocated, whereas it would be better to have separate threads on:

- marketing Pubcon to those not signed up

- tips

- pre/post conf tourism for those so inclined

- room share requests

- administrivia for registrants

and I think this would be easier if there were a new forum for PubCon.

Good idea. We did think about that once before but decided against it at the time.

Thanks for the suggestion and we'll keep it on the burner.

We do try our best to keep the threads neat and tidy.

Do you have a section where in all SEO related conferences dould be discussed? This could be a place where all the members who are located far off are not able to attend the conference but atleast can share the knowledge and information somehow. I see a lot of the attendees usually post lots and lots of information on a day to day basis and it really helps those who are not able to attend.

That's quote a tough one because there are literally thousands of conversations going on at Pubconference, or any other conference for that matter. The information tends to get posted forum-wide.

In addition, many of the discussions are very specific and it would be impossible to post that information here or anywhere else, for that matter, to avoid breaking confidentiality, trade secrets, etc.

However, we're taking on board your suggestions and ideas.

Thanks.

Sounds like a very good idea as I stubled over this thread while searching for PubCon travel tips :)
