Well done ;)

Was it through an ecommerce site or the affiliate site in your profile?

First day I made a sale online it was a 0.25c commission from Amazon. That same day I built a PC, configured it and sold it for a not unreasonable sum of money. I was on more of a buzz over the 25 cents than I was over the 4 figure computer sale. People take drugs for a high like that, I'm told.

Way to go macrost :) (you too nakugoyal)

My sales have climbed about 50% higher in November. But we have a B2B site with manufacturing software and I have attributed it to the economy getting better and departments in companies using up their budgets before the end of the year.

I made $0.30 on my aff then it fell off of Google 2 weeks after it got there. Maybe it was just a new site boost and will go up eventualy.

You guys are funny, seriously :)

Getting happy with 0.30 sale. But that makes me funny too, cuz I made $15 3 months ago,and now I'm thinking I'll be rich in the next 3 months :) How funny is _that_? :)

Since I started out on E**y I only used to get two or three sales a month through the shop site till I optimised for the se's and built links - once I figured it - out we were away literally overnight. Now I'm doing 20 -30 sales a day and am considering employing a cleaner! I still can't believe it...when the G serps went awry I thought, the golden goose had kicked the bucket, but happily it hasn't happened yet.

Miop: is this sales, or affiliate links?

Sales - I have no affliate links yet - my new shopping cart has a facility for signing up affilates so I might start that when it's up and running after Christmas.

rfung, It's not the sale amount that makes people excite. It's just that people are looking at their work and it's working. :-)

It indeed is exciting. When I got my first online sale years back, I can't tell how happy I was. I just went online and saw money into my Paypal. And that client is working with me still. I don't want to loose my FIRST ever customer at any cost. :-)

Okay, I confess..I made $6 this past week and I am happy :)

My emails to friends and family about the $6 made me sound like a ranting lunatic:)

I'm really excited, the traffic isnt even here, so I am absolutely positive I'm gonna be making some decent money in the next 2-3 months.

When I first started business I had a little pasting table with some things on it - I sold something for £1, my first ever sale, and it was the biggest kick I ever had!
It can only get better...

I make my first sale within 2 days list item in ebay :)) i guess that doesnt count.

My real first website sales was 8 month after launch, now i get 2-3 orders / day . all this without any optimization on keyword or anything. even the website keyword is still with the original keyword for phpnuke :O.

:(( i know i can do better if i optimize my keywords since I have 1 of the best site for my niche market. Over 1800 Hour of original recording.

Congrats macrost , may this be the start towards 10k/month goal :)

I still remember the first time i got a sale ...thats in early 2000 , the total check i got in my first month was a paltry $50 - but as nakulgoyal said its not the money but the great feeling that this "Web" thing works and people will trust and buy from your suggestions!
