StickyMail - not saving copy of sent messages

I've looked and looked, so I'm declaring a black-hole

I can't seem to set my system to save copies of stickymails that I send.

I've looked, again and again, for a setting. It's got to be somewhere but I can find it, so ..........

I'm declaring a BLACK HOLE, which is something I have found works when my car keys, wallet, important papers, socks, etc. "disappear".

Obviously they've fallen into a black hole and that is why I can no longer put my finger on them. I therefore relax, give up, acknowledge the power of the universe and, ofttimes, as if by cosmic forces, the lost item will magically reappear - as if it had been called out.

Now maybe that "here's how you save a copy of a sticky mail" setting will jump out at me .... if one of you will push it back onto the screen or into my perception...

Pixies, elfin magic, computer wizards, Carl Sagan, Stephen Hawking, SEO, SEM, WW ..... it's all mystical and magical to me.

Same problem.
I don't know if there is an answer - but my 'workarounds' are:
- cc: myself where I wanted to keep a copy, or;
- prepare the sticky using notepad or equiv & save it.

Step 1: Control Panel --> Sticky Mail Prefs (on the left side column)
SentMail Expiration? should be set to 14 (or anything greater than 0 and less than 15)

Step 2; When you compose or reply,
Place a backup copy in outbox folder? option should be checked. It is located just above the Send Message button on the Compose window.

Hope that helps, unless i misunderstood your Q.

Thanks Chndru - that's 100% correct.

Gotcha.

It's that language about "back up" copy that likely snarled my circuits.

Maybe change to "Store copy of sent mail in outbox folder"?
