I see this text on the top of the home page. I am wondering if you know about the mispelling? CHAOS

Was there always a "slogan"?

ok - ok - I got it already.

That whole thing is pulling out of a text file done months and months ago. I don't put them in manual.

Your oasis of structure in a desert of choas.

Today's quote of the day on the WebmasterWorld home page - looks like a typo unless someone can tell me what a 'choas' is :).

[webmasterworld.com...]

And have you tried to google the word?

Well the second result for me is a page from canoe.ca where they have choas in the title, link text and <h3> tags - they own that term :).

Hehehe, noticed the new claim but not the typo. Now that is a neat one!

A good proof of the typical writer's blindness. We all know this, don't we!? That's why my woman always proof reads my stuff (the hardest part of all my web work though, believe me that - but i wish she could also proof read english). ;)

You ought to try having a last name like mine where it is one character away from a frequent typo (table) and used in almost every webpage on the net - whew..

I don't want to sound like a besserwisser but shouldn't it be:

Your oasis of structure in a jungle of chaos.

To me, the word desert has the connotation of something being empty or void. And how can something that is empty be chaotic?

(Sorry for being such a busybody, it was a quiet week at work and I guess I must have a lot of left over energy...;)
