This thread on Marcia's 5,000th post [webmasterworld.com] made me want to ask if it is possible to be informed when specific users post a message. I've come to respect the opinions of specific members - and while I would like to read WW every day -its just not possible for me. And filtering based on user seems like a good way to read the best posts. (Some what like the library threads but a little different.) Besides Brett, mods could have bragging rights about who has the most subscriptions to their name. ;)

I don't know about the potential of notifications, but there is a way to follow your interested poster's posts by viewing their User Profile.

I can still see my own, and no one elses? <Yikes!>
