I find it sometimes pretty funny at the bias in highlighting posts..For, e.g., there are 3 posts covering the topic in the public forums on the same concept

In forum 5:

Verisign to grab typo traffic from MSN, AOL
a deal cooked up with Inktomi, Overture

In forum 25:

Verisign sinks even lower
Every mistyped domain name is now redirected to Verisign

In forum 10:

sitefinder.verisign.com where did it come from
i did not install this - what is this spyware?

And i wonder why this post from private forums need to be in highlighted posts?

Verisign Takes Over Unresolved Internet
In one of the most aggressive power plays in net history, all dot nets now resolve to Verisign.

Even though the highlighted post is partially incorrect. Verisign resolves all dot net and dot coms.

p.s. not trying to flame anyone/thing.

I believe the one highlighted was posted first, and it has a lot more posts.

<added>Yep it beat all the rest, and it has a lot more discussion. It does link out to the others though.</added>

There used to be an unwritten agreement that "what is discussed in private stays private" but it doesn't seem to be the case anymore... This discussion could have just as well been posted in "public" first, but its just a trend that I'm noticing.

Ya, the highlighted post was first - that is why I picked it - the story breaker.

Well Sun, we are talking about huge events here, they are bound to be talked aobut on the public side. The part that is fascinating to me is the difference in opinion on them from both sides!

BTW: if you have homepage threads you would like to recommend, by all means, let me know in stickymail! I'm always looking for good threads.
