My Threads Not Appearing

Don't Show the Yellow Exclaimation in Recent Posts, Either.

Another question:

Some old threads that I've previously responded to stop appearing in the "my threads" display, even if they are updated recently. The normal behavior, I presume, is for "my threads" to work like recent posts - that is, the newest jump to the top.

But older threads seem to stop doing this. Also, in recent posts, the yellow exclaimation mark seems to disappear for old threads that are recently updated.

I thought initially that this was a function of the thread being moved or joined. But I've noticed it this morning with a thread that hasn't been modified (AFAIK).

Bug/Feature?

Thanks. I did try to use the site search this time, and couldn't find anything. ;-)

What might be cool for the WW Community Center is a FAQ page describing these "how WW works" features. I looked in the Library, and there's hardly any threads listed with questions like these.

Or, perhaps most people just don't care. :)

Just gotta dig a little bakedjake; this link is at the bottom of the home page. :)

Using Webmaster World [webmasterworld.com]

BTW, I've noticed some irregularities. For one, edit tags sporadically don't appear on edits; I've noticed this on my edits & others.

They're doing some backend hocus pocus. Tried to send my dad a link to the Google Calculator thread & he gets a login screen. Sent him straight to the Google forum & he sees a different thread list than a logged in member--the G calculator thread isn't there.

I've edited the above post & the edit tags are not displayed here. Does anyone else see an edit time & date on the previous post?

added: guess I need to read the help files too. Thank you macguru. :)

Edit tags wont show if no one posted after you.

skipfactor, I've read through that guide, but from what I can tell it does not mention the little things that creep up. It's more of a user's guide.

I'm looking for a "Okay, you're addicted. You hit 'recent posts' every 10 minutes. Here's some threads discussing some subtle features you may have noticed but have questions on."
