A discussion on the Webmaster World Forum, saw many publishers threatening to reduce the number of pages that used AdSense or opt out of AdSense altogether.However, Google quickly responded to the backlash, removing the feature after just one day. It said in a message to customers: "You may have also noticed that a 'Related Searches' feature was released last night. We tested this feature with a number of publishers; however, when we released it more broadly, we started receiving feedback about concerns we didn't fully anticipate.
It would have been nice if there had been a live link so all of their visitors would know exactly who they're talking about. But the fact still remains that we're all in this together, and that sure says a lot about the value of the relationship, to everyone concerned, between webmasters and search engines.
