My Idea:
I am a Deputy with a Sheriff's Department and we currently have a website with information for local departments to acess. we also have booking photos of person that have been booked into our facility. I can export a csv file with all the BIO information in it, and the photo file. to basically the script would have to search the database, based on a users imput search criteria, and then display the resulting images with a check box to say yes keep this image or leave it uncheck to not select the image.

also it would need a function to add a name to the lineup.

you would only need to display six of the photos.

If any one is interested, please let me know.

Thank you for your time.

Hi nathanwb,

Firstly, Welcome to WebmasterWorld [webmasterworld.com]

If you are asking for advice on how best to acheive this (doing it yourself) you will probably get the best answers over in the PHP Server Side Scripting [webmasterworld.com] or Perl Server Side Scripting [webmasterworld.com] fora.

Whereass, if you asking for someone to write this for you, your post is probably best off in the Commercial Exchange [webmasterworld.com] forum, where you can ask this kind of question.

Welcome to the board, Nathan. I see that you've posted in our Commercial Exchange, and you'll probably get some good responses, but I'm not certain whether this would be best moved to our Perl or PHP forum - it can be done in either language.

Is there other software now running that you'd want this to integrate with within the department or the county, and if so, what language do they use? Also is it a Unix-related system or Microsoft platform?

No, just wanting to create this for an online gerneration, Pearl or PHP dosn't really matter to me, but I didn't know if there was anyone who would be able to generate this for me.

the answer to your other question would be: UNIX

Thanks for the point in the right direction.
