Forum Moderators: open
I won't bore you with the details, but I've resigned as moderator of CSS. A sad day indeed for me.
I'll still be around, but I won't be looking after the CSS Forum any longer.
I've really enjoyed my tenure and I'm a little sorry to not see CSS reach 10K posts but life moves on and so must I.
Best of luck everyone ;)
Nick
A shallow notch, my good man, a cut from a razors edge,
A sliver of glass nicked his hand as he reach out for the ledge.
Wounded slightly, he cut short; and nicked an impulse to flee,
And everyone at WebmasterWorld found it very hard to believe.
Nicking tables for CSS he grooved a brilliant thread,
Our Nick so clever with fonts and space writing things he had read.
With Nick's new code and correctly placed he showed us how to cheat,
And jump we did from last to first leaving our competiton in defeat.
He tricked himself out of work our styles are so correctly placed,
And all Nick has to show us now are the cuts on his hand and face.
For you - Tricky Nick :)

hope to still see your posts around. Not many people can educate you and make you laugh at the same time.
WebmasterWorld - you can log out but you can never leave...
The CSS Forum is, in my opinion, one of the mainstay's of WebmasterWorld - and this can be attributed to the superb work and effort you put into the forum. The work you put into the crash courses and the effort you put into keeping the forum clean and focused is a credit to you.
Best of luck and my sincerest thanks...
You'd better let me buy you a pint in gratitude in London! :)

Pardon my manners Nick, I never actually indicated how impressive and dedicated you were at "mod"-ing the CSS forum.
BlobFisk really hit a cord, and although I realize the forum will continue, I can't help to think that it will be quite difficult for WebmasterWorld to find someone else as dedicated and deserving of being a knowledge and skills development leader in this often misunderstood area.
I sincerely wish you the best in your future endeavors and at the same time wholeheartedly request that you reconsider your decision.
There are few members, mods, and admins that are as active as I (not being conceited just a simple truth) and I rarely post "me to". Sometimes (as Shak politely pointed out at PubCon, I do go off on BS tangents... something that I will endeavor to correct).
Most days and nights I read and post whenever the opportunity arises, and I often see you doing the same.
I am a rare breed, and you my friend > a term often used in my past profession "A breed apart" and should your decision stand, and regardless of whether you remain as a member or not > I can't help to wonder how much WebmasterWorld has lost from not having you continue as our CSS leader.
Take care, and see you at PubCon.
The drinks are on me. :)

A credit to US blobfisk ;) - I think we've set an oustanding 'tone' in that forum and perhaps untill BT finds a replacement for me we can work at maintaining that quality by setting a good example to incoming members and help them get the best possible experience from Forum83
I love it when folks come in for the first time and get a dozen qualified and authorative answers in the space of about 5mins ;) You guys MAKE that place a nice 'haven' from the bustle of some of the other forums and it's a pleasure to be in such good company.
>drinks are on me
Oh boy, and I thought I was wasted in Boston! ;-)
Nick
An American expression, I think, best left as is to keep the vulgarity vague :)
Have definitely enjoyed your work in the CSS forum - and I hope that, when I finally take the time to study all the work you put in, you're around to answer my questions - else you'll get a flood of them in email :)
Cheers.
