Sorry if this is an issue mentioned before, but I cannot find the edit link so I can unsubscribe to a thread..

It was there last time I looked...

(If I cannot edit can an admin pls unsubscribe me manually from the questions for googleguy thread please)

Adding: Hmmm, well this post gave me an edit button... so if the edit availability is time limited or something how do we unsubscribe? ..(should the help file be updated to reflect any current changes?)

Take a look in Control Panel and Forum Watch. Does that do it for you?

Can you give me the actual thread and post number itself?

No Edit button and also:
[webmasterworld.com...]
msg #26 (I'm not subscribed to that thread but there is no
edit button, so it could be a "google news" forum problem

The Control Panel and Forum Watch has nothing checked, so that doesn't help me.

Thanks.

The control panel is for general settings in a forum. It's surprising how many people miss that. ;-)

I'll track those posts down.

LOL - can you imagine anyone subscribed to watch the 'google news' forum? They would be drowned by now!

hehehe - perhaps they are lonely. ;-)

OK, I've sorted the first one but cannot see the problem on the second. It may be a bug. :-( Bug reports here. [webmasterworld.com]

Also, you should see the owner edit to the left of each post so that may be linked to the problem.

Well, you can unsubscribe from the whole forum watch list. That is off the control panel. The individual threads is another issue.

We put in the limit on time that msgs can be edited to stop some monkey business with a couple people changing their whole posts - even after replies. I overlooked the "email notifications" on that one. On the list for the next update.
