Is there anyway to let them know about rules?

Maybe just like a line of text above the message box saying, "Please do not post URL's here." It seems every other post people have to explain this...then the mods come along and snip it out...I think it's a big time sponge and rather redundant.

Great idea. Not many new people read the tos/charter and this would make sure that they do not post url's in their messages.

I think this situation has been there for some time, but way way lower than most forums.

Its probably a bit more obvious because of the influx of large number of members over the last few weeks.

And putting the "do not post" message on each page or similar will only encourage more of the wham,bam,thank you mam brigade.

With time 99% never repeat that first 1 or 2 mistakes which I think most of us have been guilty of, I know I certainly have.

The community spirit is so strong here, that many of the culprits usually go and edit their post when "discreetly" prompted by a member who at the very same time is replying to their question.
