Just saw a brief post from Brett today but generally there has been no post by him for last 8 days or more. Don't quite recollect the last time that happened.

AFAIK he has a life ;) I've seen him post here and there. Who knows, maybe other projects are in the pipeline - even as big as WW.....

lol. good point. The reason i mentioned this was for the past few days the threads on the home page were remaining the same. Those thread actually help me keep track of all the interesting topics of discussion going around.

I know 12 hrs daily of WW is making me addicted :)

I beleive (but I'm very much an unofficial source) that he's been holidaying at a nudist coloney with a bunch of the better looking WebmasterWorld crew. (I wasn'nt ivited :()

He's most likely catching up with a weeks worth of stickies and emails, give him a couple of days ;-)

I agree. Do the other Admins (or the Mods) have the "rights" to change the topics on the home page?

Busy - extremely busy. PubCon Boston snowed me under with work. I promptly left to go out to the Paypal developers conference. Then I took six days off (my first in years and years). Now I'm snowed under again.

Thanks for the concern. I'm back. Erm, least for another week until I head to London to SES London on June 3-4.

webwoman,

we can arrange that when he comes to London, just be a bit colder here than sunny USA. keeping NickW away is a different story as he will only be 2 hours flight away.

A couple of weeks ago, someone proposed that Googleguy didn't exist and was really Brett Tabke. Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, Brett Tabke doesn't exist and is really an alias of Googleguy.

Googleguy has been very busy reranking sites in the current never-ending update, and has not been able to play his Brett role very often. Don't worry, I'm sure "Brett" will be back to his normal posting levels soon.

You doubters should consider these facts: what better way for Google to elude the wiles of SEOs than by having Googleguy pose as a seemingly helpful, friendly, generous, and attentive forum operator? And like Clark Kent and Superman, do you ever see them together? Surely Brett's low posting level coinciding with an upheaval in Google SERPs can't be a coincidence... The truth is out there... ;)

I hear Nick_W got turned away at the door because he refused to remove his baseball cap.
