Cordiality

I have not frequented these boards for very many months, but I have thoroughly enjoyed the cordial and helpful attitudes reflected by all.

In the past few days though I have seen some responses that stand out against the otherwise placid background.

"Your SEO efforts probably suck."

"You seem annoying... I'd fall out of love with you too."

...etc.

It is raining, so I can't tell whether the moon is full. Who knows...

I suspect though, that even if there are trolls about, that we could all handle them with a bit more grace. Honesty is great, but diplomacy makes it more likely to be heard.

Just me, or have others seen some of this too?

willyb, you're right - those certainly don't represent the way we usually communicate around here. Some of us were away at the conference and could easily have missed those, and also, those may have been posted by new people not familiar with our ways.

If there are posts like that you've found send a stickymail with a link to the threads and we'll check into it.

Thanks Marcia. I just went looking and it appears the thread in question has been removed. 'twas in Google news, which sometimes gets a bit...shall we say emotional.
