Hi

Qn1: How long are threads kept online. There are many that I have 'flagged' because I find them "good resources for reference", rather than because they are interesting to follow while the current discussion is going. So is there any policy regarding retiring/archiving old threads? Can I rest easy knowing that these threads won't disappear, or should I be keeping my own store of things I find useful?

Qn2: Is the 'you replied in this thread' icon broken? I have seen that a number of threads I have posted to don't have the icon showing that I posted to them? When I go in, my post is still there. Is there some feature of the algorithm which puts that icon there, which I am not understanding?

Thanks
Shawn

I guess there's always a chance a thread will somehow dissappear, as it gets moved or forums rebuild. Must say though I haven't had any of my old flagged threads dissappear from me.
As to the "My threads" icon, it only reaches back for so many threads. I believe it's 20 threads or so.
