Well, it may not be all that significant for those of you who have thousands of posts under your belt... But I think it may warrant a celebration, so let me know if you are in Sydney...

Thanks for a great resource!

Hmmm... I see my count is still at 99... Maybe posts to Community Center don't count.

Get to work ;) Keep up your posts, after the first 1000 they go by so quick. Remember when posting we want to see content, content, and content! :D There's only one way to entertain me and that is with tons of info :)

In anycase congrats to your post marked event as I'm sure your posting somewhere else to gain that extra notch on yer belt :P

Shawn...

or Sean as we say in Ireland..

That's correct, Community Centre and Foo do not add to count ;)

Why not fritter number 100 away on a Google Update thread?

OK, I've done it now. Not a post to a Google Update thread, but a response to a question in the perl & php cgi forum.

PS Can I be an honorary Irishman? My wife's passport says she is Irish, and that makes my kids eligible for Irish passports, so I figure I've got Irish blood in me somewhere.

Shawn

All you have to do is change to Sean and you are an Irishman..surprised your wife has put up with "Shawn" anyway ;)

Sean,

A name change and a decent pub crawl (Irish style decent please!) and then we will consider you application!

Remember Shawn is Australian, and probably therefore a teetotaler ;)

Problem with the name change is that I sometimes work with other Seans, so if I changed my name, the only way we'd be able to not get confused would be to call each other MH and LH (More Handsome and Less Handsome), and that might cause friction in the workplace.

But, hey; you guys are changing the rules on me. First all I had to do was change my name. Now I have to develop the drinking capacity of a true Irishman too! ;)

But never you mind, we can muster up a pretty good pub crawl in Au, and there are plenty of Irish pups with names like "Scruffy Murphy's", and plenty of Irish backpackers in them.

But wait... There is a problem: [webmasterworld.com...]

I guess I can't become Irish after all :(

Ok then, how about a new hybrid nationality of Aurish? ;)

While I've heard that the capacity for a decent pub crawl is good in Aus, I've also heard that you water down your beer! Ducks and Hides! :o
