Let's see.....

Edvard Munch's writing in his literary diary for 22 January 1892:

"I was walking along the road with two friends.

I stopped, and leaned against the railing, deathly tired -
looking out across the flaming clouds that hung like blood and a sword

So, here's the question:

What image would you select as the replacement to Edvard Munch's most famous work "The Scream" as the ACK pages new image?

Something symbolically more appropriate...

Two things come to mind.

A competition to see who can design and make the new image has inherant problems with posting that image because it would have to come from the entrants own domain and this would be a problem. Also, it reduces the entrants to those who are more skilled at graphics design.

Find something else within public domain that is already freely available to all. Then again, this doesn't take into account the uniqueness of WebmasterWorld. After all, how would it look? WebmasterWorld with a generic, freely available within the public domain type of image found millions and millions of places throughout the vaste electronic nether we call the Internet?
