I understand the premise of privacy (in this case), but it still makes contacting a mod for say...url drops, sketchy at best because we have no clue as to whether the mod we are addressing the issue with is even on the board.

If it was thought to be problem (cannot see it is myself) you could have an "Admin" sticky for posters to address questions to.

Get round the privacy question, but make more work for mods :(

What about a 'Mod alert' button in the grey bar above each forum? No privacy problem.
