Woz - clearly a highly educated person, judging from his postings - and my humble self write fora all the time.
Welcome Laisha! It is nice to have another classical scholar in our midst. We've been kind of lonely up to now. Do feel free to drop in at my Europan Forum and offer differing opinions at any time.
That should be our mantra. I think that is the key to open discussion - and is the reason discussion boards can be invaluable tools.
Fat egos don't pay the bills.
One does one's best to use the correct linguistical derivation whilst making one's most humble offerings to these FORA.

Woz (feeling slightly educated this morning (Shenzhen time))
I agree with all that has been said here. another reason this board is so useful is that it seems many are ...let us say... a bit older... "Greys".. say the market researchers...

While much is said about the new economy/info age being all about youth, that is also its greatest downfall. Limited future/past persectives which lead to plain stupid business models.
You need those who have been around pre-Mosaic days and before to give perspective to the highly valuable enthusiasm and vigor of youth. Give me an old guy who is willing to learn new ways any day over a youngster with a 2 year vision back and forth. You cant get wisdom at university or knowing a "virtual world" only!
In this forum its a great mix of youth and wisdom. That I think really is the nub...
