Looking for a efficient switch box...

Any suggestions for an affordable switch box - I would prefer one to share the keyboard, mouse, and monitor on two computers - but if that's too expensive, then I'll just go for a video split.

Anyone here have experience with these?

I just got an IOgear KVM switch, hot key activated, 2 port, no software, on sale for $20, list around $30. Belkin makes a good one too, about that price.

If it's only two ports, there's no need to get something fancy, the setup works really well.

The one thing you have to watch out for is some Bios settings have keyboard repeat times, the IO kvm switch requires 2 scrLk hits in less than 500 milliseconds, 1/2 second, it wasn't working, I checked on computer's bios and it had the time set to exactly 500 millisecond. Windows also has this setting in its mouse configation, so you have to make the repeat timing less than 500 milliseconds, other than that it works perfectly, my unit will only work with mouse/keyboard/monitor all plugged in.

Thanks... after looking around I decided to go with the Linksys. Pretty much the same thing as the other two.
