How to get them to match?

I am running dual monitors on Matrox Millennium G550 card. One monitor is a Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 20 and the other is 17inch Compaq 7500. I am trying to get them to display images that are relatively consistent from monitor to the other, but am having a tough time of it. I use Photoshop mostly and it difficult to tell which montior is displaying the most correct colors. Any suggestions?

Ahhh... the difficulty of dual monitors that aren't Mac.

I have seen a program that adjusts all different aspects of your monitor (Color, contrast, temp, etc) that comes with color chips to compare with the monitor's color. Unfortunately the name escapes me just now. If I can remember I'll be sure to post again.

Maybe someone else has experience with the utility I'm talking about?

You could visit a site with a color palette like this [oreilly.com] until you can get some software to accurately do it for you.

If you've got the money, for a few hundred you can get monitor calibration utilities that come with an external sensor... you display the software's test pattern on the monitor, calibrate the sensor with a hardcopy of the colors (professionally printed and included in the package, so it's definitely correct), and then set the sensor against the monitor. The software calibrates the monitor to the correct values.

Can't think of names offhand, but searching for "monitor calibration" would turn up a few options.
