I'm considering a new web server in 2011. Just installed an SSD in my wife's computer and it smokes.
But, are SSD hard drives ready for ongoing server use? Can I drop 2 or 3 drives in to a webserver and let them run for 3-4 years with no problems?

yes PCI-E is a CARD, not a drive.
they all have their specs, some are x4 some are x8
im going to guess on a server that old you don't even have the correct kind of PCI-E slot for a new PCI-E SSD.
