I have a web site I am starting that involves the outdoors, like backpacking, camping, types of topics. I think it would be really neat to do a lot of videos for this site. I need to pick up a portable video camera to shoot digital videos and wanted some recommendations from you guys. Here is some of my criteria...
1. Small and light weight since I have to carry it in my backpack.
2. Preferably waterproof
3. Shoots quality video without being giant sized files that I can't upload to a web site.
4. Has long battery life since I may be out in the woods for a while on each trip and want to shoot video all along the way.
5. Plenty of hard disk space to hold lots of video at once.
6. Durable since it will probably be jostled around in camp life a bit.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
