I am putting together a computer and using the following motherboard that supports amd socket 462 and up to 400 mhz front side bus 1gb ddr1 pc 3200 400 mhz ram amd athlon 3200 (socket 462)
When i boot up the screen says system memory is at 200nhz, and it also shows the processor correctly at amd 3200.
Shouldn't the screen show system memory to be 400mhz?
In the bios I cant go much higher than 200 i think?

I don't follow hardware developments closely these days, but perhaps the clue is in the name - "DOUBLE data rate". From memory (no pun intended) DDR memory operates at twice the clock frequency by performing transfers on both rising and falling clock edges.
