Verizon Fios Actiontec keep dying - Best Replacement?

I've had some bad luck with the actiontec routers that Verizon ships for it's FIOS. I was getting ready for a trip requiring 7 hours of driving and my latest one started acting up. Got a whole 3 hours of sleep before the trip.

Anyway, I'd like to purchase my own router and keep the actiontec as an offline spare. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I'd really appreciate it.

BTW - I do have the router plugged into the battery side of a new UPS so it should not be an electrical problem.
