Voip support doesn't help me. But they recommend to use QOS on router to avoid package loss. They don't specify anything about it and I don't see any place to modify any configuration on modem. (I can log as admin 192.168.1.1 but I don't have a "QOS" link or anything similar"
I'm using eyebeam or xtenlite. I used to have a pap2 from linksys but didn't help me at all either so I sold it.
BTW is there any eyebeam configuration that helps? Tried using only GSM codec, only g729, and mixes. No difference.
I have 2 voip services (2 different providers) both are really bad to me
Could your provider be putting a limit on VOIP connections? Does traceroute tell you anything?

Unless you have other traffic saturating the link that probably won't help.

If you're losing packets, changing codecs is unlikely to help any.
