Processor working all the time and running too noisy .?

Hiiii Since yesterday my processor is working sooooo hard and its very noisy and when i check the CPU performance under windows task manager, CUP usage is over 50% all the time even when i don't do anything.

And on my desktop theres always a gap hole appears when ever i open a software and close it, and it wont go away unless i refresh the desktop

Sometimes im also getting a Svchost file error when shutting down the computer.

any help to solve this prob would be greatly appreciated.

It's highly unlikely that your processor is actually making audible noise. Most likely a fan is creating the noise - it's about the only noisy component in a typical computer. In which case you'll need to clean/fix or replace the fan.

But your report also lists other software (as opposed to hardware) problems which imply either malicious or misbehaving software.

If I were you, I'd get someone with experience of PC maintenance to give your machine a once-over. Internet-based fixing of this type of thing is not necessarily a good idea. But you can give it a go if you want to ;) First step: have a look in the task manager to see which process is using so much CPU (right click the clock in the bottom right >> task manager, sort by CPU).

Im having a laptop, HP Compaq Presario C736TU Intel Pentium Dual core 1.60 Ghz with 1 GB ram, OS system is Win XP SP2

so is it ok if i remove the cover and vacuum all the dust in da fan ?

the noise of the fan and the gap space which appears in the center of my screen when ever i open a software and the svchost file error along with the extra heating problem came all of a sudden and all together, could it be a Malware/Virus Prob..?

I can submit a Hijackthis Log report if anyone know how to analyze it and see whether its a Malware/Virus Prob
