Hi
I have trouble using wireless optical mouse from Logitech on my laptop from HP. It produces a "zooming sound", for some reason i think it comes from hardisk of laptop. I have also tried "standard" USB wheel mouse, but still the same?

What do you suggest, how to get rid of irritant sound and yet enjoy the
convenience op wireless mouse.

thanks

R_m_o welcome to WebmasterWorld.

If you've tried another mouse, then the fault is elsewhere. It could be any number of things, but first, if the sound happens when you move the mouse, check it's not a setting of mouse software.
If you have a PC, go to Contol panel, mouse and check the settings. If there is a sound option, turn it off and save the setting.

It’s constant zooming sound, the moment you plug in the USB, whether you move the mouse or not.
I definitely hope it’s not my laptop, i’m considering to buy these mice with Bluetooth to see if that helps.
