Let me start by saying that I love my web-host. They let me do pretty much everything I want and I've been with them for a long time. However, my applications are becoming increasingly critical. I've been tracking my server up-time with AlertSite and i've been over 99% for the past month.

That .2-.7% down-time adds up to be quite a bit over a month, especially since I'm working with Credit card transactions. I'm curious if there's a service out there that allows you to have the same site hosted on multiple shared servers which will virtually load balance your HTTP requests to send users to X server or Y server.

This sort of service would ideally increase my Up-time and hopefully decrease my IT expenses by not having to invest in a more robust servers or hosting solution.
