so...what's the largest screen we really need as web people? Currently I have two monitors: one 24 inch LCD (fit two full size windows there) and a 20 inch one.

Does a larger one make sense or does it confuse things? I watch TV too on my Windows Media. Do I need a 30 or even larger screen or what ;)?

For normal use is 19" enough (web, games...). If you are a programmer of graphic designer, you often need screens 21" to 24". So yours is for all uses more than enough. And the secound thing is watching movies on screen. In this case - bigger is screen - better is situation. But i recommend watching windows media on standard tv using special adapter. Too big screen may be confusing for normal use.

Hope I helped you a bit.

p.s.: I have 19" screen and it is enough for me. 42" Is suitable only for watching tv in living room. 42" is TOO BIG for computer use.

There is no such thing as too big. ;)

Instead of one big monitor try getting multiple smaller monitors. Once you get used to 2 or more monitors you'll be hard pressed to go back.
