But it does not have any Firewall.
Now I am thinking to replace it with a Motorola Modem SBG900 that come with a firwall. But I am little confused:
1)is this firwall is same as we called "Hardware firewall"
2)Can I still run my Software firewall?
3)My ISP supports SB5100 but they don't have a clue about SBG900.Will it work?
The details of These modems is on Motorola page

Plesae help.I knew really less about hardware.
Yes.
2)Can I still run my Software firewall?
Yes and you should. That can be helpful to catch and notify you of bad programs wanting to get outgoing connections.
3)My ISP supports SB5100 but they don't have a clue about SBG900.Will it work?
I don't know but it should work fine, my cable company didn't know about it either but it works like a charm.
Make sure to change the admin password and learn how to customize the firewall, start from strict settings and then unblock the ports you need by looking in the firewall logs and identifying programs (strict even blocks mail so make sure to unblock those ports if you send mail from that machine).
