2 19" DVI LCD's...need HELP!

video card suggestions

I just picked up 2 19" DVI LCD's. What should I go for in a video card? I really don't want to the spend the $150 on Dual DVI (because with those cards you pay for their gaming performance and I DO NOT game). I think i've got it narrowed down to a Radeon 9600($75 newegg) or a GeForce FX 5200($40 newegg).

I use these to run my sites (dreamweaver, photoshop, 2xIE, etc simultaneously).

I really only care about the 2D performance and price is definitely an issue because I was able to get this monitors on clearance for $300 total after rebate.

If you want the best 2D hands-down I would go with a matrox card. They are somewhat exspensive, but worth every penny. They have excellent multi-screen capabilities and made for graphic pros, which sound alot like what you do. I have a Parhelia, but I would go with a P650, it's a little newer and a little cheaper.

alphacooler, there's very little to choose between the cards (for your purposes, at least). Go for the cheaper one.

Alternatively, if you can get an even cheaper card with one SVGA and one DVI you may find that using a SVGA to DVI adapter doesn't really make that much of a difference in 2D work.
