No - I got a fujitsu siemens widescreen 15,4 which is a perfect laptop and when you look at the screen its asa if you looks on a 17 inch screen, it just dont fill up all that space. my also have all the feauteres you mentioned, the only minus is the batt. on lasts 1,5-2 hours, but mostly I use it with cable.

webmstr, I've got a 17 HP notebook (zd7310). Picked it up 4 months ago for $1549 at CompUSA.

I love the machine especially the brightview, it's awesome. That docking station costs $267 to buy seperately from the HP Catalog.

The one your looking at comes with XP Professional with SP2. Mine came with XP Home so I had to install IIS Emulator and the Cassini Web Server to run .net and asp pages. You won't have to jump through those hoops with XP pro.
