Router self-configging ports 1437 & 51350?

US Robotics 8300 adding these service ports to itself

I got myself a second router, a US-R 8300, to basically service two computers that are behind another router that's mainly for internet sharing. Instruction booklet's guide pretty much says, 'plug stuff in'; website instructions don't give much more info than this. Routers seem to be working fine.

Without my having done anything, the services of ports 1437 and 51350 have been set up for port forwarding (virtual server mapping) to the local IP of a laptop with Windows XPHome on it. There's no info about these ports being automatically set up in the instructions or on the vendor's website.

Anyone have any idea what this is? Should I smell a rat?

Any info I can find about those ports is that they are commonly used for gaming.

Hmm... on the subject of gaming, I remember from some D-Link routers I had (I thought they were both terrible and returned them), that there was some sort of setting for turning off Gaming Mode. It may have been for XBox Live.
Perhaps you should look for something like that.
