Hi,
I am trying to find some volunteer people who can help with my blog content. (I try to do this with zero ads and zero revenue.) Just for people to learn about programming mostly plus latest tech news. Is there any way I can find such a community that would contribute with their efforts for free?

I am open to any suggestions.
Please don't say put a form on your site or etc.

The old "build it and they will come" still works ... but it will be based on what you have actually built and if there is an audience/participants interested in same.

How long has the blog been active and what kind of traffic do you see? How often do YOU participate, or generate, with the content/discussions? It takes WORK to get these things started.

HOWEVER, in these days of sound bytes, driveby readers, attention spans of gnats and (sadly), educated readers who often lack the writing skills to communicate.

YMMV

New forums often run into the same roadblocks.

Only cure is to CULTIVATE what you have and, as a gardener of words and content, you have to do it every day.

Well, I have a few hundred visitor a day this should give you some information about the size of it. I can not write often as there are other things I have to do. My plan would be to have an online community who would post on the free times and then I could approve and post.

It is not new but it is rather small.

To grow something you need to be engaged and ready AT ALL TIMES.

However, you can still grow things even if you are a sometimes player.

To get OTHERS to play, on the other hand, THEY need to see they are appreciated and urged to continue.

Cake != Eat

Tough method of building a community.

Posted, rushed, meant to say: You have to work at it. Give it time! Players for your sand box (your blog) need to be recognized, admired, and given a reason to become super players!

Or more simply say hello, thanks for coming!

And then weed through those that respond for those who can actually take a place in promoting the blog/content ... though you WILL NEED TO CHECK them for accuracy and knowledge!
