I'm a marketing manager for an auto dealership, in Alabama. I was interested if anyone has experience using social media properties to boost their ranking in social media to include claiming a WordPress or eBlogger tethered to their company web site? What are your thoughts on their relative strengths and weaknesses?

If your intent is to increase audience on social networks, your involvement on those networks has limited reach without extra expense in both time and fees.

If you want to provide extra information for your customers and community, then it can make more sense to invest your time locally with a section of your website for news, events and information.
