If someone is working within Windows how do you preview web pages on Safari? I’ve read that Apple no longer supports Safari for Windows and if you find an old copy online it will either be infected with malware or won’t install.

There are browser emulator sites that offer Safari emulator for Windows. I can't recommend one because I use Mac. Others may have one to recommend.

@Jennnnn - you don't say *how* that someone is working within Windows.
Most editors have a preview built in. But I will sometimes name the page TEST.html and upload to my server. Then I test in various browsers. If all works as intended, I just rename using SFTP.
I don't like any of the browser emulators. Most don't do a very good job and they don't keep up with the updates. But because I don't use them, I'm probably unaware of any good ones that do accurately display thew latest updates.

I work in Expressions Web 4 and have Chrome, IE and FF in the browser preview view. Recently decided to self host two Google fonts. I published those changes and one of the fonts is working fine in Chrome, FF, IE and Safari but the other font isn’t working in Safari. I think the problem is how the font is listed in the css or @font-face rules. I thought it would be easier to trouble shoot the problem if I had Safari in my “preview browser” list like the other fonts.
I’m working in Windows Parallels running on a mac. I realized today that Apple no longer supports Safari for Windows and if I found a copy it would probably contain malware or not install. I also learned that there is a firewall between the windows and mac side of my computer so I can’t access my mac’s current version of Safari. So, I was wondering what people do. I guess I’ll make a change, test the “Windows” browsers and then publish to see if the changes fixed the Safari problem.

If you're running Parallels to use Windows, you should be able to use the MAC OSX also. Safari would be installed by default. If you haven't been using the Mac part of your machine you may need to set up a user there and update the OS along with the software. I had Parallels for awhile because I was using a program that had no version for Mac. I finished that project and got rid of Parallels, but yes, you can only use one or the other at a time.
If you're trying to view file examples that are on your Windows partition, you can always copy them over to the Mac side with a flash drive to check them on Safari. If they are not visible outside of Expression Web, you should be able to save a html copy into a folder with copies of the other resources like images and .css, then copy the folder over to the flash drive to view them on Safari.

This will never be like testing with a "real" Safari browser. But you can always try WebKit-based browser. On Windows, it's not easy to find one , but for example you have [midori-browser.org...]
