Google crawl URL in your website not in Search console. In the search console, it only shows a status of your website

For completeness, Google drops the site submission tool [webmasterworld.com] and the same goes for the Search Console, although, you can use it to fetch a page. Honestly, if you have a search console for your site Google already knows about the site.

It's also worth noting that you really do not need to submit a site for google to index, neither through the old site submission tool, or via the Search Console. A good sitemap, and incoming links will mean Googlebot will find a site.

Googlebot is voracious!
