Looking for ideas to get clients by foot through the door strategy

I'm having a hard time finding clients over here in Thailand. Been struck with severe tinnitus and hypercacusis (no cure ear conditions) so I can't network at conventions, can't cold call, can't knock on doors. Tried Google Adwords, not working...so I'm kind of invalid for now;( Haven't been able to leave my condo for 6 months.

So I thought of giving out free(or cheap) teaser services as Paul Cline has mentioned to get my foot in the door o companies using Drupal.

But what services to offer, I think they don't need to be Drupal related, maybe not even web related. Just something to put my foot in the door.

- set up their company tshirt (I'm amazon merch now)
- invoices tweaks
- flyers tweaks
- free flyers brochure evaluation
- contact form fixes
- image resolutions fixing
- buss card revamp

Can anybody add to this list or offer suggestions to use this strategy? Obviously we are not competing so I don't see any harm?

Have you invested in a thorough Social Media campaign? Not just buying ads, but either you or your employees spending significant time posting linked images, content, coupons, etc on the many Social Media platforms. This is a huge traffic source that can be monetized.

Also both Google & Bing have free business accounts to display your store info in their respective local search results. This is especially useful for mobile & puts your location on the map with driving instructions.

How large is the Thailand market? I ask because I have no idea....

How much of that is actually based/hosted from Thailand servers?

Have you offered your services to hosting companies in Thailand?

Your above list is "make work, maintenance" so what other special skill set can you offer? Meanwhile, do not price short, don't give too much away free because the customers will expect it, and keep all options open.

Taking all the above questions in view, change the origin point to what you can offer NON-Thailand companies (think US, UK) for insert into the Thailand/geo-Asia market if you have language/translation skills. Sell your knowledge of who what where when why and how in Thailand with you being the who what where and how---all you need is the when from them. And a contract and agreeable terms for recompense. Also, don't restrict yourself to Drupal. Offer customized forms, css, layout, graphics, etc. as an extension, provided those skills are there.

Having a hearing disability should not hold you back, even in MLM arenas. Just carry a laptop or tablet and type your hellos and sales pitch. "Just because I'm tone deaf does not mean I can't tone up your website!" etc.

Good luck!
