It looks like item #13 (and others) in the Terms of Service would prohibit that kind of activity here, see: [webmasterworld.com...] or click on Forum Options and see the Charter for this forum: [webmasterworld.com...] where it says the same things more or less.
There are several threads in the Link Development forum: [webmasterworld.com...] where the topic of links and how to get them is discussed.
