Hello
My question is a little off topic but I don’t know where else to ask.
I got that idea, new segment and new features for social website. But I have no Idea how much money do I need to build it. Im not a technical guy so I need your help.
Im talking about website like google+, linkedin or facebook. And im not talking about cloning them. I need custom build from scratch social network.
With features like search in facebook, hangouts in google+, payed membership, news feed from your friends walls and groups and payment system inside website to exchange money between users.
And than make it available on all major languages.
What the price of creating?
How many people do I need?
How much time it will take?
What kind of programmers and engineers im looking for?
Plz help me with answers. Ty.

My first response is, "How much money you got?"

And before you have a chance to respond, I'll add, "It ain't enough."

Other than that, the only real answer to your questions are "It depends." The price depends on the number/type of people you have build it and the amount of time they spend building it. The time likewise depends on the number/type of people. They kind of people depend on the amount of money you're willing to spend and your time line.

Sure there is LIKE button.

Problem is I don’t know how many people do I need
And what are their specialties should be.
Money I have zero. Im wanna start raising proses and fined Angels and Seed Investors.
Goal is to build world class social media network. With more features than existing one have and target on a much smaller market/target group than FB, Twitter, Linkedin ex.
So I need to know what to raise. What to ask.
I did research and got broad answer. From $300k to 3kk.
It should be done as fast as possible. And I can evaluate its market pries after 5 year a bit less than LinkedIn. I would go with $2 billion.
So, I have to build MVP as fast as I can. Ideal in about 9 month. Than start to expend and advertise.
For so I need team with good and petitioned tech people.
Can you help me with list of employees I need?

So you have an idea, although I'd call it more of a pipe dream. Actually, what you have is a problem.

First of all, with zero money, you will find it almost impossible to get any employees. So you need to find money before you can build anything.

(Why? Employees want money. Yeah, that sounds really selfish of them- why should they want to feed themselves or their family when they should be building YOUR idea?)

Second, Investors rarely invest in ideas. (I would say never, but there is that extremely rare case that brings the possibility just slightly above 0%. And that rare case only applies to someone who can *clearly* articulate all the details/steps that are required to reach the end result. The questions you're asking show that you're nowhere near that level.) So you need to have something, preferably something that works, has users, and is making money (or at least not bleeding money too badly) before you can go to investors.

(Why? Investors don't want to lose money. Yeah, that sounds really selfish again- why should they hold on to their hard-earned money when they can give it to you to pursue YOUR idea?)

So your problem is the age-old problem that many entrepreneurs have faced: no money to create a product and no product to show to get the money to make it. You need to figure out how you're going to solve that basic problem first. Otherwise, you may have the answers to the questions you've asked, but you'll still find yourself back at the basic problem of no money/no product.

money,money,money

features like search in facebook

why not focus on the search engine market first to raise some initial funds?

running an "AdWords" type scheme on your new search result pages can bring serious money and search engines are not that hard to code (so i hear)

may be a slightly quicker/easier project than a full-on social network with no funds.

the search engine market is begging for a newcomer to sort the current mess out

:o)
