how to monetize music related website

Hi,

I have a music related website which displays charts positions for popular songs which is getting around 5k of pageviews per day. Am currently using google adsense to monetize the site, but thought that there might be better alternatives like products or private deals. Just looking for ideas as i'm pretty new to building websites and the doing businesses online.

You could go for some affiliate links to download the tracks in question but generally music is not an easy one to monetise.

amazon now has CPM ads through their affiliate program.

I think it's invitation-only at this point. mention your 5k pageviews per day, maybe that will help you get accepted.

just a thought ... are the charts you are using compiled by yourself?
usually you need a license to publish other people's charts!
so i expect you'll get banned from adsense at some point if you are using charts without permission.
