I've been trying to get email hosting somewhere and have a hard time with that. I need a recommendation please.
I know that email comes with most website hosting plans, but that's now that I need. I already have a website, it's hosted somewhere and running fine. What I need is just
email hosting. My requirements:
- I need to have an email at my own domain, i.e. firstname.lastname@example.org.
- In addition to regular correspondence (up to a hundred emails per day and we'd be using the webmail interface for that), I need to also be able to send up to 10,000 emails two or three times a month. And I need to be able to send those using SMTP. (Our website collects emails and then we send our customers special offers. It's NOT spam. The website does all that and sends those emails using SMTP).
- I need SPF and DKIM so our emails do not end up as spam.
- I do NOT want some type of service like Constant Contact. Our web site does everything, I just need a mailbox.
I can't use Google Apps because they think we are a spammer. :( I signed up for the service while it was still free, but it's not working for us and I need to find a replacement. BTW, I just need email, not calendar or docs or any of that stuff.
I have checked Rackspace, but they have no DKIM support and a limit of 250 emails/day.
I've looked at Zoho but their sales team doesn't answer the phone so I have unanswered questions.
FastMail seems perfect in every respect except one - no tech support. I signed up for their enhanced plan, it should work perfectly for my needs, but I have a small issue that could be resolved in 3 minutes on the phone with tech support... except they do not have phone tech support. Instead they require me to open a ticket, and then it takes them over 24 hours to respond. And when they do respond, they do not read the question but instead copy and paste some generic blah blah that's useless to me. Stupid.
So I'm still looking for good reliable email hosting that would satisfy my requirements. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions. Thank you.
