After re registering my Domain name (3 weeks gap in registration after several years near top of google) how long will it take for google ranking to return to previous?

Thankyou

Welcome to WebmasterWorld.

Your rankings should return, assuming all else has remained constaint. You may have lost some links for example?

It may take some time. Google will only re-index you once it has been able to re spider your content.

I know you won't make this mistake again, but don't let your domains expire :-)

Mack.

Yup -- Who remembers to change the CC info on every single registration acct every single time? Oops! LOL

Had one expire for almost a month, but within a week it was right back where it was previously, so I'd just sit tight and wait.

I think Google will show a drop temporary because your site was not working but of you continue with the same way (on page and off page) you were doing before expiration, you will get your site back on ranking.
