I have a health website with 800k visitors per month. it has 60% progress per year.I encounter financial problems for hiring its server.

I am thinking about selling pop-up advertisement. do you think is it a good idea for earning money?

does pop-ups hurts progress of my website? i have a banner advertisement but its money is not enough.google adsense does not supports my language.

Generally people do not like pop-ups, I would not add that 'feature' to my site. You don't mention the type of site you have, is it an information site of articles you have written about health topics? A forum about health? An aggregation site with articles from other sites? A directory to other sites? It makes a difference what people expect to find when they visit your site and there are different ways to earn money with different kinds of sites.

96% of my users are on my forum.I use 500 forums for aggregation of news and articles about health and medicine issues.sometimes (rarely) we answer questions.users don`t like
to open topics or take part a topic. they like only to read news and articles.

Maybe it would pay to look at a link generator, I would do a search for monetizing a forum. There are tools to convert your content to paid ads, but if overdone you will run people away. Read up on that topic and you may find a solution.

I found some resources about monetizing forum on net. I will evaluate them later. best way is getting banner advertisement but it is hard to get another one.and even maybe every moment current advertiser decide not to continue its advertising.it seems hard situation.

I have gathered good quality news and articles with mentioning their resources and their links.sometimes from mine.this makes users to focus on my website for health issues.

it seems you don`t agree with pop-up at this situation.

I don't know if I'm part of your demographic, but if I visit a site that has a popup, I leave immediately and try to make a mental note to never return.

But then I'm not normal.

CPM for Popups depends on your visitors, for some countries it is significantly higher. Try contacting some advertisers directly also.

sometimes I email advertisers directly or indirectly that advertise on other sites and invite them to do it on my website.none of them replied me unless current advertiser.

but he pays only 25% of real price. I could not put him under
pressure to pay real price and also could not remove his banner .
