I just found some disturbing statistics

One Advertising site said that their cpm campaigns get a 0.37% click through rate which they thought was quite good !

Another advertising site said that research showed that 98% of people that clicked on an ad did not buy the first time.

So that is only a 2% success rate.

This to me goes to show that Advertising rates are just far too high to justify a ROI.

What do you think ?

I could not find a forum on here for website advertising.

My view of PPC advertising is that you are paying passers by to look in your shop window. How many people do you see look at window displays on B&M stores and then walk on? How many come back another time?

Is your window display (website) well designed to encourage customers inside?

@Piatkow
Well said
But there still needs to be a ROI.
And those figures I quoted above are not good.
