Anonymous O/S Downloaded 26,000 Times [bbc.co.uk]
More than 26,000 people have downloaded an operating system which members of the Anonymous hacker group claim to have created.

The software is based around a version of the open-source operating system Linux and comes outfitted with lots of website sniffing and security tools.

The "official" Anonymous group has distanced itself from the software.

Surely, those 26,000 people must be aware of the risk.

Engine, you almost gave me heart failure there. From the post title I thought you were going to say that some anonymous robot just gobbled up 26,000 of your pages, or the same page 26,000 times.

But possibly that will be in next week's news.
